Proteomics Research Center is official research center in Iran which is approved by Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education. Health improvement and science development via proteomics are the main aims of this center. Research Council of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences approved and stablished Proteomics Research Center in 2005. 30 Nov 2019 the finalized improvement of center is issued by Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education. Proteomics Research Center is selected as “Most Outstanding Non-Independent Research Center” in national festival Razi in 2013. Among some research project” Bio-compatible wound dressing for repairing skin lesions: Trauma, Burn, and Cancer: A Clinical Trial” which is going in clinical trial step is one of the Outstanding activities in center. Bioinformatics as a related field is established in center to improve proteomics results. Bioinformatics analysis of neurodegenerative diseases is a highlighted research line in the center. Chairmanship and supreme Council of Research Center are responsible with approval of vice chancellor in research and technology affairs of university and notification of the university chancellor in charge of managing the Research Center. Research Council Center consists of some supreme Council members, who are responsible for the review and approval of research projects, signing agreements with other research centers and universities, and Research Center activities’ evaluation. With approval of Research Council Center and vice chancellor in research and technology affairs of university confirmation and notification of the university chancellor, outstanding university faculty members and researchers can be accepted as members of the research Council Center
